Is Australia Zoo worth visiting?
Re: Australia Zoo – is it worth it? It really is very good. Lots and lots of animals, croc show etc but also a huge area you can roma around patting kangaroos and interacting with native animals. Have never known anyone to come away disappointed.
Can you catch a bus to Australia Zoo?
The Australia Zoo courtesy coach meets most trains at the Beerwah Rail Station to transfer passengers to the Zoo. If the bus is not at the station, simply call the Zoo on 5436 2000 and a bus will be sent out during our opening hours for your convenience.

I would recommend one of the milder seasons like Autumn (March-May) or Spring (Sep-Nov). I think early Spring Sep-Oct is the best time to visit Australia because it’s warm enough to swim at the beach and if you want to go on bushwalks the wildflowers will be in bloom.

The Croc Show is 12pm at the Crocoseum and it’s not to be missed – absolutely fantastic.a little tip..if you don’t want to do a lot of walking, once you enter the zoo, turn left to the shuttle – you can exit at various points around the zoo & save long walks. There is an exit for the Crocoseum.
How long does it take to get around Australia Zoo?
It will take a good 4-5 hours to enjoy the views, there is quiet a bit of walking. Me and my family walked 8kms just around the park. We also enjoyed the 20min show.
